Zamieć- A blizzard

On the metro yesterday they were predicting a large amount of snow today and the prediction was right.  After an afternoon meeting I decided to document the blizzard with some pictures.  Life continued to go on today even though there was snow (that does not happen in Alabama- every thing shuts down).

I think I got my exercise walking to all these places...then to reward myself I rode the tram back to my apartment and ate some cookies and drank coffee. Birkenau Concentration Camp

Last weekend I went and visited Birkenau Concentration Camp for International Holocaust Day.  Below are some pictures.  The event had representatives from a few different faiths and many different countries

In a place that is so sad to visit, I hope people will seek to find peace with each other today and never let such events happen again.
